Leona Lewis, get back under Simon Cowell's cloak. The true inheritor of Mariah and Whitney's soul diva crown is back with a bang. She may have taken an age following up 2003's The Diary Of Alicia Keys, but she's finally pulled her finger out and if this single's anything to go by it's well worth the wait. For those that way inclined, she's also gone to the bother of filming a video where she rolls around half-naked on a beach. Which is nice.

The song is a fluttering, piano-tinkling ballad - of the variety we've come to expect from Ms Keys - that manages to steer away from the warbling and vocal stretching that so many of her contemporaries (we're looking at you Christina!) insist on whacking in at the end of every chorus. The lyrics expose Keys' vulnerability and current loved-up status, while the tune is simplistic yet beautiful. In conclusion, this tune is cooler than an Eskimo's exposed nether regions and it's flippin' great to have Alicia back in the fold.
