What a beautiful version !

This would have been a more decent Christmas Number 1 than the rubbish by the boy who cannot sing. You know him by now as Leon. It has happened before though. The pogues eleased possibly one of the best ever Christmas records and was denied the number one status that it deserved.

Katie Melua has the musical talent and sensitivity to match the wonderful Eva Cassidy. The result will long outlast the naysayers.

This is a beautiful song and deserves to stay at No.1 for much longer than one week.

Lovely track. Beautiful. The people giving it one stars are Melua haters for no real reason and have not given a fair review of the record which is very mature.

My 2 fave female singers on the same recording - simply the best.

Oh how I hate Katie Melua, what a waste of space. Tacking her on to Eva Cassidy like a bloody thirsty leech is a bit much! I hope we see less of her next year and confine her to a life in the USA like Joss Stone.

What a breath of fresh air after watching the x factor

This is singing. To anyone wanting to be a real star, PLEASE study these two. Unbelievable.

Beautiful version - makes you realise how lucky we are compared to others around the world.

Just listen to the words and be grateful for each day.
James Hackett, Liverpool on December 12th, 2007
Mediocre and banal.
