Graham Coxon has claimed that he is "happy and fulfilled" without a Blur reunion.

The guitarist, who has released three solo LPs since leaving Blur in 2002, revealed the band booked studio time in December last year but didn't bother to use it after the band met over a meal.

He told NME: "I think people thought, 'Oh, it’s a bit too much, just jumping into a studio'.

"We met for a catch-up and it was great, but there was no real talk of recording. It doesn’t really bother me. I’ve got enough going on to feel happy and fulfilled."

Coxon last recorded with Blur on the track 'Battery In Your Leg', which was on their 2003 release Think Tank.

Blur's bassist Alex James said earlier this week that Damon Albarn was the member currently preventing a reformation for the Britpop band.
