Great song, great band. xx
Fouk Wilson on February 7th, 2008
Strange how a song about rock n' roll can be so unbelieveably dull. And its 3 years old? WTF?!
Kirsty, Beds on February 7th, 2008
I love this song and can't get it out of my head!
bob uk on February 7th, 2008

Well its safe to say that this website are not fans of the band , but your facts are a little muddled. Suggesting that Nickelback have only just reappeared since 2001 is completely off. Chad Kroeger had the huge hit from the soundtrack of Spiderman , "Hero" which peaked at #4 in the UK. Nickelback had another top 10 hit with Someday which peaked at #6. And the band is one of top selling Rock Band's in the US . They had 5 top 20 hits from their new album making it their biggest selling album to date. Chad Kroeger is a Rock N' roll genius. He is a great song writer and Rockstar although a solid song , i would instruct you to listen to the full album you would see countless other far superior songs. This band is and always has been doing great , its seems that its been a while since the UK (and Ireland were i'm from) has took notice of them. More success to them.

If it were even in the slightest bit more ordinary, you wouldn't actually be able to hear it, it would just dissolve into background noise ...
MA - Philadelphia, PA on February 7th, 2008
Love the song - took it 'tongue in cheek'. Never seen the video.
Fi, Bolton on February 7th, 2008
LOVE Rockstar, it's so ironic and brilliant. Really good video with the mix of real people and stars, one of Nickleback's best songs!
Dave, Exeter on February 7th, 2008
It's an absolutely terrible piece of utter rubbish. The vast majority of the British public has no discernable taste whatsoever, as evidenced by the celebrity and "reality" show guff that ends up at the top of the charts when there is so much great music out there.
anom ireland on February 7th, 2008
classic catchy genius song

Pound for pound the best band in the world. The Ashley Ward of Rock n Roll
Chloe Pearson, London on February 7th, 2008
This song is clearly a load of crock s****e. Why anyone is buying it is beyond me!
Radiomaniac, London. on February 8th, 2008
The only proper song to be in the charts for years. I love the song and video.
Kayleigh-Essex on February 8th, 2008
its a good song....gotta giv em sum credit!!
Richie, Norfwich on February 8th, 2008
Shame on you, snooty DS 'journo,' It's a great pop song that's probably more relevant today than it was when it was written, lumping it in with Z&Z and R&J is just damn lazy.
Dave, Exeter, again on February 8th, 2008
Fi in Bolton, ironic? It is anything but ironic! There is not one shred of irony involved! Unless you are from the Alanis Morisette school of irony, ie, none at all.
Dee, Dublin on February 9th, 2008
It's bloody brilliant!
Katerina, Switzerland on February 9th, 2008
To be honest i think that melody-wise its about the worst song on the album but the lyrics are great. Anyway though you have to check out the full album to judge, and you'll see that these guys truly ROCK!
sue wrexham on February 12th, 2008
Briliiant track, excellent cd
Val, England on February 13th, 2008
Chad Kroeger and Nickelback are brilliant. Obviously they aren't everyones favourites, but as that would be an impossibility, I think that the following they do have is impressive. They are obviously hitting the right notes with a lot of people and that is what music is about.
DB from York on February 13th, 2008
This is THE best song ever!
Lynsey - Sunderland on February 14th, 2008
Its head banging air guitaring brilliance - best song thats been in the charts for a long long time.
allan, London on February 14th, 2008
I do quite like. I don't think it's a number 1 record, but then we've had basshunter at the top for 6 weeks, so you can't predict anything. I do reckon that its a song that the novelty wears off quickly. so im surprised that people are consistently buying it, and not got bored of it. It's not just me that listens to a song on radio/tv for 16 weeks, then thinks :week 17, im logging on to iTunes and buying that record. Its great. Still, it could be worse, Adele could be number 1, that pretty awful.
mandy & jodie/bournemouth on February 15th, 2008

FANTASTIC.....I love it....
Adam, UK on March 19th, 2008
No point in bad mouthing the song, the majority of the british public must like it considering the success of it, I for one think it was one of the best songs of 2007.
shezzy sheringham on March 23rd, 2008
this song rocks wow
Daniel , Seaham on April 12th, 2008
This isn't a cheap cash-in like the awful Crazy Frog. It's by a band that know what is good, listen to Nickelbacks albums in full and you'll hear why.
kevin, houston, tx on April 14th, 2008
the number of comments from people who like this song is really bothering me...i don't really understand; we do all realize that this is the worst band of all time, right? i mean...they are. i can never fully respect any of the celebrities in this video again, and that's sad for me because h-town natives zz top and paul wall are in it. but you know what, it can't be forgiven. at least chamill stayed out. just the fact that kid rock's in the video should clue you in to the fact that it's complete trash.
Eds disgruntled music mentor on April 16th, 2008
If this song were a colour, it would be beige. what a load of absolute cludge.
mim-wmids on April 18th, 2008
I'm an older rocker than most that may post here, I never payed much attention to this band until now. Well done on a great track, it's good to hear something lighter and fun. There's not much of it around anymore. (But I still like the heavyer stuff.)
