Amy Macdonald has branded Wednesday's Brit Awards "boring".
The singer, who releases new single 'Run' on Monday, opted not to attend the ceremony and said she had stopped watching on TV midway through.
She told ITV's Loose Women: "I did watch the Brits, but I found it a bit boring so my attention went elsewhere after a while.
"I was invited, but I didn't really want to go. I was in the middle of a tour, so I just wanted to relax and watch it on the TV."
The 20-year-old added that she disagreed with the decision to give the prize for Best British Male to music producer Mark Ronson.
She said: "The award should have gone to Newton Faulkner. I've met him a few times and he's a lovely guy and extremely talented [so] he stood out for me.
"Mark Ronson is a producer so it's a bit strange that he won."
