Rumours about her new album continue to escalate, but Madge's lips remain as tight as her yoga-toned body. We've sifted through the tittle-tattle to give you what's important: ten facts about the pop queen's latest opus.

1. It's called "Hard Candy".

2. What does that mean? "It's about the juxtaposition of tough and sweetness," Madonna's publicist told Entertainment Weekly. "Or as Madonna so eloquently expressed it: 'I'm gonna kick your ass, but it's going to make you feel good.'"

3. The album will be released on April 28 in the UK, arriving a day later in the US.

4. It will be Madonna's final studio album with Warner Bros., her label of 25 years.

5. The album's co-producers include Nate 'Danjahandz' Hills (Britney Spears' 'Gimme More'), Pharrell Williams (Gwen Stefani, Kelis, Britney Spears) and Timbaland (just about everyone).

6. Kanye West's involvement on the album has yet to be confirmed.

7. Has Madge gone urban then? "She just wanted uptempo, dance, club [sounds] and everything to have a hip-hop underlining," Nate Hills told Rolling Stone recently. Timbaland has described the album's sound as "'Holiday' with an R&B groove".

8. Justin Timberlake appears on '4 Minutes', the album's first single.

9. Madonna and Timberlake play superheroes in the video, which was shot in London last month.

10. Other songs on the album include 'Give It To Me', 'Candy Store', 'Miles Away' and 'Heartbeat'.
