Joe Lean has revealed that he offended Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner by calling the band "Arctic Chutneys".

The Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong frontman made the faux pas when he informed Turner that he once failed an audition to star in an Arctics video.

He told Teletext: "I reminded Alex recently, but I called his band Arctic Chutneys.

"He thought I was being rude and looked like he wanted to hit me. But we sorted it out nicely in the end."
