For starters, just to say, after Leonas performance on the Xfactor, singing "RUN" origionally by snow patrol, I am absolutley blown away. The man who knows it all (mr cowell) even said it was absolutley unbelievable - so for the people that say she doesnt have talent!?! then god, who the hell do you think has, if she hasnt? Shes amazing, she has the effect on me that no one has ever had before, shes gona go down in history, and all you that dont think shes good, well, you'll be pretending you never said a bad word about her!

if u don't like her vocal style don't listen too her! fine, express you're opinon but don't get rude! i so agree wiv babyv see isn't tryin to be like mariah or whitney. whitney acts like a diva which leona does not. mariah has a very sexy image with short skirts and bikini's which leona again does not. there voices are very big bout sound all very different. crtics lkie this one compare leona to mariah and whitney not fans. i think better in time is good but don't really like footprints in the sand. we can say how we feel without being rude about the artist which is something i've learned recently too.

first off leona lewis ant trying to be like mariah carey or any other artist.leona lewis is leona lewis.honestly leona lewis could hit higher notes that mariah carey cannot do.people are compairing leona lewis to eather mariah carey or whitney.stop it already.leave her alone.her hit single 'bleeding love' was a hit and i know that leona lewis is gonna get at a couple of grammys for that song.if you don't like leona lewis then don't comment.keep your nasty comments to yourself.build a bridge and get over it.

Obviously you have bitter taste, her voice is simply amazing on both songs, and there is nothing wrong with how she sings :P The songs are worth a massive 5. On the other hand the Alex Fletcher's rating and comments on the song are worth a very low 1

i think the two songs are both great, infact i liked them both when i first listened to her album and i think they could have done equally well had they been released on their own. top marks to leona and hopefully another reign of the charts is underway!
allison, wigan on March 18th, 2008

leona is gonna be the next whitney houston. she is amazing 1 of the best singers out. i must admit she was the 1 i wanted to win x-factor from the auditions. got to admit that better in time is the better song out of the 2 but then again footprints in the sand is an amazing song aswell n it was the best song to do 4 sports relief. when i first saw the video i had a tear in my eye it is so sad but the best song 4 that video. anyways leona will b my idol all the way i love her, her vioce is the best wish i could sing like her n she is well pretty even without loads of make-up both songs score 5 for me go leona u can go all the way ur EXCELLENT!!!!!!! x.x.x.x.x

Wow!

As ive said before im not a big fan Leona's vocal ability and this again both failed to impress me. Not to my taste but each to their own.
Mal , Co.Durham on March 10th, 2008
Footprints sounds like a rubbish song they would choose for an x factor winner. The other side is just as bad. Can't stand her vocal style at all.
Lou, Bristol on March 10th, 2008
Not keen on either of these, FITS is typical Cowell product, BIT OK but not great
Lucy on March 10th, 2008
Bleeding in love was very good, but better in time and footprints in the sand are excellent songs. I think these songs will go to number 1.
Leo, London on March 9th, 2008
I don't like it at all, she's trying a little too much to sing like other artists (no names), hope she will find her own style anytime soon.
Sk Manchester on March 9th, 2008
Absolute love both. XX The decison to release Footprints was because there was a huge demand for it by the Fans. Still in shock that this amazing girl lost out at the Brits - complete farce!
Ali, Somerset on March 7th, 2008
Footprints is a bit boring, and predictable, Better in Time a bit bland
Ash, Manchester on March 7th, 2008
Both songs are amazing. Different enough to eachother which is what you want from a double a-side. And her vocals are great on both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
doug on March 5th, 2008
why do you say something positive and then finish off by something negative, you must be threatened by leona an x factor winner becomming a success. I suppose your undertones would be greater if she failed, I just hope that her success continues, and causes the writer of this column even more pain.
Mozza, Birmingham on March 5th, 2008
Disagree! Footprints is the best song on the album (well.. maybe except for BL) and it's terrific that she's releasing it as a single! Better In Time is very good too; can't wait to hear her performing live again on Dancing on Ice! I wonder if Torville & Dean will skate to her music??
Ryan Wilson, Southampton on March 3rd, 2008
Love both songs - she's an angel - deserves to be number one again, particularly because it's for charity, but even without such a cause would be a worthy number one.
Evan on March 3rd, 2008
Why complain about her showing off her voice? That's what made her win X-Factor and what is getting her international praise. And I totally disagree about what you said about "Better In Time", it's an amazing song and her voice goes fine with the beat.
DB,York on March 3rd, 2008
These songs are great, Better in Time is the better song though, whilst Footprints is good. I can bet they'll both get to the top of the charts for a while.
Sarah, South London on March 3rd, 2008
Love both, although 'Better In Time' is the better song.
