Snoop Dogg: 'Sensual Seduction'

Snoop Dogg's platinum success since 2004's R&G: The Masterpiece has done a fine job at masking his less than savoury behaviour. Brushes with the law and porn films were what used to earn Snoop Dogg headlines and hit records, but nowadays he can do no wrong, with even squeaky-clean David Beckham hanging out with the Doggfather.

'Sensual Seduction' offers a glimpse into the filthy, defiantly un-PC world that Snoop used to frequent, showcasing his typically lurid fascination with pleasuring the laydeez. With lyrics like: "I approach the chick with the really pretty face, nice curves over the itsy-bitsy waist", this is Germaine Greer's worst nightmare. However, beyond the lazy misogyny lies a killer disco tune built around '80s grooves and top-drawer Prince-style funk. It's a real shame that these musical delights are obscured by some rather unappetising lyrics.
