Indie band The Kooks are planning to release Rak, a special edition double album to coincide with their new LP.

The album includes the upcoming Konk record, along with a second disc containing seven new tracks that were recorded over the course of a day at the Rak studios in North West London.

The bonus tracks were recorded with producer Mike Crossey, who has previously worked with the Arctic Monkeys and the Zutons.

The limited edition album also includes Luke Pritchard performing a demo of 'Brooklyn' and an acoustic version of 'See The Sun'.

Both Konk and Rak will be released on April 14.
