Bowie delighted by Shadow Puppets cover

David Bowie has revealed he is a fan of The Last Shadow Puppets' cover of his track 'In the Heat of the Morning'.

The Shadow Puppets, a side-project for Arctic Monkeys singer Alex Turner and Miles Kane of The Rascals, recorded a version of the song for the B-side of their upcoming single.

Bowie told his official website: "That's a delight! How lovely. A daymaker."

The Last Shadow Puppets' debut single 'The Age Of The Understatement' is released on April 14. An album of the same name follows on April 21.
