Pink Floyd's Waters appeals for lost pig

Ex-Pink Floyd rocker Roger Waters saw his two-storey inflatable pig float away during his set at the Coachella Valley Arts and Music Festival.

The Coachella organisers are now trying to get it back for him, offering a $10,000 (£5,000) reward and four festival tickets for life as reward for its safe return. The inflatable animal came untethered on Sunday night and drifted away from the festival crowd.

The giant pig has been part of Waters's stage shows since 1977. Waters previously lost the prop during a photo session at Battersea Power Station in London. It was later recovered and used on the cover of Pink Floyd's album Animals.

Water continued to use the pig as a mascot after departing Pink Floyd in 1985. His Coachella set included Floyd tracks 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond' and 'Dark Side of the Moon'.
