Rubbish. Why bother with this when she has "Rehab" (a far better ballad) left on the CD, let alone the brilliance of "Breakin' Dishes"?!?

I agree Beth,it's a stunning song, if you've got the album you know breakin' dishes, so why release it? Why not have "take a bow", something new and fresh

I didn't like it at first but give it a few listens and you do warm to it, not completley, but it does get better

And so my bubbling dislike of R&B continues on its warpath. And poor old Rihanna is my second victim. How dreadfully dull can a song get, may I ask? She deserves to be slated. This song, Rihanna herself: it's all just designed to make money. Although I am partial to "Umbrella" (sighs)Rihanna is just the face of vested interest. Squeezing the life out of the GGGB album just to make a few more bucks - it's shameful. There's no love in it. If there was Rihanna would start making her own music and not having other people do it for her.

hear hear JP from London, could not have put it better myself. she has no love at all for her music. how many singles is she going to release from this album for god sake
Danny, Manchester on May 15th, 2008
Take A Bow is dull R&B at its worst. I don't understand how it's sold so well! Rihanna is nothing more than a poor man's Beyonce

I think the concept is great and the video adds to the appeal, this just gives us a chance to sit down after the last single. i'm loving it.
