This reviewer must be a massive Muse fan, which is cool each to his own, but why is he judging a Sandi Thom record? He's bound not to like it! From the Over produced Rock opera of Muse, to the New Orleans stylings of this record, there is quite a difference. I heard the on radio 2 a couple of weeks ago and think it's one of the best pop records i've heard all year, catchy, jaunty and a bit left field. It's nice to hear something fresh every once in a while.

Seriously when i first heard Sandi's debut single i thought it could be so boring. But when i heard it a few times it was catchy and fun. Now with this single coming out. I've heard it in Youtube and it's fabulous. It's shouldn't be 2 stars, it should be 5 because she's talking about globle warming and it's in a song which really interests me!

Whenever I see the name Alex Fletcher above a review I always skip to the reader comments. I skip there to see how many actual fans of music he has annoyed with his clearly jaded and biased reviews of songs that would have been best left to someone with a little tact and musical diversity. We hear the same old comparrisons every time he reviews and yet he remains on the digital spy payroll, I can only assume that he is related to someone higher up the chain of command, or sleeping with one of them! This song by the way, shows a real intelligence yet maintains Sandi's musical dignity with genius uncontrived guitar riffs and fabulously disjointed percussion, proof that Sandi is able to write throw away catchy "pop" (punk rocker) and this, a classic piece of current sounding music with a meaning, ballads are hard to write (why else do you think they're usually about the same thing, love?).....oh Alex just so that you know a ballad is a song that tells a story, not just the Whitney/Mariah stuff (which again I like, but then my tastes are more ecclectic than just a hand full of privately educated 20 something year olds buying some instruments and creating an "indie" band) that you generally use as negative comparrison.

Seriously, why hasn't she quit trying to be a popstar? Just terrible.
