Speaking about Duffy, he told the Daily Star: "LA Reid introduced me to Duffy's record. I really love her voice. You guys have lots of talent."
Ne-Yo described himself as a "die-hard fan" of Winehouse, arguing that her self-destructive lifestyle is what makes her music so compelling.
Commenting on Leona Lewis, he said: "Leona is a beautiful person inside and out. Her talent will carry her in the US but maybe me being hot helped." Ne-Yo wrote the song 'I'm You' for the US version of Lewis's Spirit album.
Ne-Yo releases his latest album Year Of The Gentlemen on June 24.
