Amy MacDonald: 'US audiences are better'

Amy MacDonald has claimed that audiences in the States are better than those in the UK.

The Scottish singer recently visited the US to promote her music and was surprised by the enthusiastic response she received at her gigs.

"Myself and my band went over a few weeks ago," Amy explained in an interview with T4. "We played two gigs, one in New York and one in Boston, and it got me how much better the crowds were."

MacDonald recently revealed that her latest single 'Poison Prince' was written with Pete Doherty in mind.

The 20-year-old's debut disc This Is The Life topped the UK album chart earlier this year.
