Panic At The Disco: 'That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed)'

It's been two months since Panic At The Disco released their second album, Pretty.Odd., but many listeners still haven't got their heads around the band's transformation. Watching their heroes morph from emo trailblazers to Beatles-obsessed sixties revivalists was just too weird for some fans to take in.

Fortunately, the album contains enough killer singles to win over the doubters slowly but surely. 'That Green Gentleman', like previous single 'Nine In The Afternoon', contains a swinging chorus, lashings of jaunty guitars and a call-to-arms outro that finds Brendon Urie offering one of his finest vocal performances to date. It may take a while for some people to catch on, but when they do they'll realise that Panic are actually making some of the most thrilling music of 2008.
