
Students were asked to compare the critically-acclaimed 'Love Is A Losing Game', written by the star and Mark Ronson, with a 1592 poem by Sir Walter Raleigh.
They could also choose to write about Bob Dylan's 'Boots Of Spanish Leather' or 'Fine And Mellow' by Billie Holiday.
University paper The Cambridge Student said candidates were "surprised" to find Winehouse among the texts.
"In 2001, students were similarly bewildered to find a quotation from the Bee Gees on the compulsory Tragedy exam," it added.
