The Liverpool Culture Company has been forced to offer refunds to 10% of ticketholders for a huge Sir Paul McCartney concert.
Thousands of fans who bought £75 tickets for the show at Anfield realised they had seats in the same areas as people who had more recently paid £35 or £55.
The Culture Company, which organised the Liverpool Sound event, admitted the issue and put it down to a "reconfiguration" of seating arrangements.
Director Kris Donaldson said about 10% of ticketholders were affected.
"An initial poll to those affected has been very positive, and most are happy as their seats are in an excellent position," he said. "As an alternative, customers have been offered a refund."
One fan told the Liverpool Daily Post: "I bought two £75 tickets and they are in the same section as £35/£55... I am disgusted. I was not given the tickets I was promised and I was not prepared to pay nearly £200 to sit at the back."
