Why thank you Khalidah, that was very kind of you! Oh ..Billiam you mean? Sorry! :) I doubt if they remember you to be honest. They have to mime on stage as they probably don't even remember their own songs!

That's all very well Carl, but it doesn't disguise the fact that Billiam are a second rate boyband who are relying on their knicker-wetting girly-whirly fans who can't see in front of their faces. I realise there are hormones involved here and I know that Billiams fans like them due to their looks.I have seen it all before having lived through the Osmonds and Bay City Rollers eras. So,I gave a constructive criticism on Billiams MySpace page after enduring that awful farce which was their appearance at the Cardiff International Arena last month.I said that Billiam were mimeing very badly to a very loud and distorted backing track and the whole performance (all 10 minutes of it) was dreadful. But all I got in reply was these stupid "best boi band evva!" comments from their girly fans. Some even dared to say that Billiam were not mimeing and were singing "live" that night!! Proving that those particular fans weren't even at that Girls Aloud concert. My comment was soon removed from Billiams My Space page so as to not tarnish their image. As for two top 40 singles? Well with "My Generation" reaching the grand heights of No23 for one week before falling out of the charts with an almighty bang is considered a "flop" nowadays. I know their first single fared even worse! If Billiam can progress and actually sing "live" on stage, write their own songs and break-out of this boy band image then I shall give them credit. However,at the moment I can't see it happening. I just hope for their sake they can prove me wrong, perhaps a new management team may help?

I find the ignorance of some people on here astounding. First of all, hundreds of songs are released with the same names. Check the book of British Hit Singles to see, so ridiculous comments like they are pig tailing on the back of more successful songs with the same name is absurd. If they were doing that wouldn't they have just released a cover? No one is stupid enough (except maybe Christopher from Belfast) to think that they have released a track entitled "My Generation" to persuade fans of the Who into buying it, because as soon as they heard it they wouldn't. Billiam are hardly marketed at fans of The Who or Suede to that matter. As far as the radio One interview, Zoe I suggest you listen back. It was actually Fern and Reggie who said it was their first single, not the band themselves. So, if you are going to attack them, please make sure you know what you are saying is correct first. The same can be said for the naked photoshoot. It was indeed done for charity, it infact featured in an issue of AXM last year along with ELEVEN other pictures of upcoming 'celebrities' with limited clothing. It was also used as part of a charity calendar to raise money for a charity involving male bulimia. Now, I'm not saying this band are saints and the only purpose behind the shoot was charity, of corse it was not. But it was certainly not a cheap and trashy publicity stunt as THEY were asked to pose for this magazine, they did not sit down and plan this as a publicity stunt, the opportunity came to them and I very much doubt that any struggling band trying to make it in this industry would have turned down the opportunity of getting national press coverage even if it meant taking their clothes off. I know Take That didn't. The final thing that everyone seems to fail to see is that this band have released their songs on their own lable without the big money that a major lable would throw at an act. So their video looks a bit cheap, so their songs are not produced by the likes Timberland, so they haven't got a top London stylist....what they have acheived is two top 40 singles with hard work alone. I looked at their myspace and they must be the biggest gigging band I have seen for a long time. I have not seen their video on TV or heard their song on the radio, because ultimatley they can't afford to pay for that, so what they have achieved they have done the old fashioned way of gaining fans through shows. Personally, I don't think it's the greatest song in the world, but I'm giving it a 5 anyway because just for once someone should applaud the hard work acts like this go through trying to make it in an industry where their sort of music is not the most trendy or current at the minute. Afterall, if they were an indie band like Koopa who pretty much did exactly the same thing then everyone would appluad them also, but beacuse they are pop they are slated. Get real people, they have charted two singles based on their fanbase alone so they obviously appeal to a lot of people out there. Knicker-wetting girls are allowed to like their own sort of music aswell you know, without being crucified for it. Well done Billiam, some of us out in the big wide world can actually see what you have achieved. when put into the perspective of how much press and publicity (and money) you had compared to 99% of the other acts in the charts.

Right, I'm going to be moderately positive as possible here...the song is actually not too bad, so to compare it to Billie's debut single is a tad bordering on harsh. I would say that's it more akin lyrically to Girls Aloud's "No Good Advice". However, the one thing that does need sorting out with this lot is their image, as I'm sure anyone who's seen a certain press shot of them mulling around internet forums will testify. Other than that, it's a fine effort within it's field.

This boyband have to be one of the worst I have ever seen! They are clearly miming every song, they have dated dance routines and not exactly lookers! The songs sound dated, boring and just plain awful! I listened to them on Radio One the other day when they charted at No.23 with "My Generation" and they said that it was their first single....... Erm, have they forgotten all about their first awful track "Beautiful Ones" so soon? I don't even know if that charted in the top 40 to be honest.... Then they went on about this naked photo shoot they did for "charity"........ Please, a cheap and trashy publicity stunt! Plus, has noone noted, it's not even the same boys in the shoot thats in the band! These boys are going no where and who ever is behind them and making the decisions to release such awful songs, allow such bad miming and such dis-tasteful and trashy publicity stunts needs shot! Give our eyes and ers a rest please!!!!

I had the unfortunate experience of seeing Billiam supporting Girls Aloud here in Cardiff last month. They were dreadful to say the least. All they did was mime badly to a very loud and distorted backing-track for about 10 minutes and then they were gone. Complete and utter rubbish! What's more annoying is the army of knicker-wetting little girlies filling up Billiams MySpace page with comments like "oo Biliam R da best boi band evvah!" giving them false encouragement.
Christopher, Belfast on June 18th, 2008
And yet again, the band are trying to pig tail on the back of other more successful songs with the same name. They tried it on with Suede with Beautiful Ones, now they're having a go at The Who? Let's vote with our wallets and refuse to buy this crud.
