It's an amazing record. Didn't buy their album til a couple of months after it was released but I wish I'd brought it sooner. The whole album is good. There isn't one song that I don't enjoy. All of the songs are on constant repeat on my iPod and that tells you a lot. Vanessa is clearly the best with the range she has but they all have talent. I saw them on their first tour and they really stepped up - they can sing live and don't need an autotune! I'm a super fan now. Cannot wait for the next album :)

I really enjoyed it. Didn't stay on rotation for long, but enjoyed it whilst it lasted. Think they're flogging a dead horse with 'Work' a little though. Very much looking forward to album 2.

OMG! I actually loved this album, it was so much better than i thought it was, and proves that they can do ballads as well as bubblegum pop. In comparasion to girls aloud: out of control? chasing lights is so much better:D

This in my opinion is a brilliant 1st album release. Its full of catchy pop songs that can get you up dancing with your girlfriends! All the tracks are catchy and memorable, and I even could remember the lyrics to most songs by the 2nd or 3rd listen through. The ballads show their softer side to the edgy first 2 singles which were amazing. With their new single being the official Comic Relief song, it just shows how much of an impact that this girlband has made in such a short time, and the next sing 'Work' is my personal favourite song on the album. I cant wait to see what we see from them in the future and I hope that they are around for a long time. The Saturdays are a fun, young, fresh girlband who perform effortlessly catchy pop songs. Long Live The Saturdays :)

A fantastic album that deserved to do much better in the charts than it has done. There isn't one weak song on the album. It's about time we had another decent girlband in the charts!

An amazingly good first album from a band who I remember people were expecting to fall flat on their face. There are some quality pop tunes on here, and even the weaker moments remain fairly catchy and listenable (Issues being a case point). Up is the mainstay of the album, although Work is a very close second and one that I think, with the right promotion and the advantage of the band having far more exposure than before, could be a big, big hit. Keep Her and Set Me Off are highlights too, while Chasing Lights and Fall are strong too, if a tad safe at the same time. Given they are ripe for being criticised as 'just another pop band', it's good to see they have grabbed some of credibility already - how long did it take Girls Aloud to reach a similar stage?

How refreshing to have a fab, gorgeous and talented new girl band, i myself find them slightly addictive to watch and listen to, no doubt young girls up and down the country have now found new role models. If this is love is a fantastic pop tune and Up is better still!! I hope these girls stick around!!!

Absolutely fantastic. An all-round excellent album that you can listen to over and over! Issues and Vulnerable are such lovely songs. Work, Lies and Up all stunning! Move over Sugababes! The Saturdays are worthy successors to Girls Aloud!

Suprised by how much i enjoyed the album, although it is not an album which draws emotion from the lister but does of good job of background bubble pop!!!!!! Fall is a more mature song, which has somthing special about it, quite dramatic!!! Not the best album around but one that reminds you of what pop music is really about...If these girls had been around in 2003 they would have had under their belts lots of number one singles!

Note: about the 'Issues' lyric - It's not 'stab' it's 'slap' Still, it emphasizes the correct feeling of confusion towards your partner! Album; incredible strong, likable, beautiful! Some songs really touch my heart , e.g. 'Chasing Lights' (it actually makes me cry because of the strong, emotional delivery from Vanessa). Try not to think that their songs are aimed at young women who go through man problems. It's aimed for everyone, you WILL be able to relate to these songs in your own manner and some are incredibly cathartic. The Saturdays; a girl band (Yes! A girl band, Una is an accomplished guitarist and uses it when doing their acoustic shows) who bring energy, maturity, eclectic colourful vocals and most important passion!

I like the girls a lot. ANd that's a pretty good album review as well. They all seem good natured so why not give them and their music some credit? That's actually the first positive album review I came across. And in "Issues" they sing "I don't know whether to stab you or kiss you" - can you imagine?)) How cool is that? wow!
