Lady Gaga is amazing. Seriously. Everyone's a monster for her songs. For good reason.
Tom, Newcastle on January 26th, 2010
After "The Fame" I didn't think she could get any better but she's gone and done it. Her 8 new tracks are fantastic. This could be quite possibly my favorite album from the last ten years. "Dance In The Dark" is marvellous. I love it!

Her music is amazing!! I cant help but love rher, her music is addictive and catchy. You just need to hear her live and unplugged at the piano to see how talented she really is.. Beautiful voice, crazy but awesome style. Whats not to love?

Am getting sick of people focusing on her appearance, focus on the music people, this album is amazing, as is her voice.

She's rather plain to look at. Her music is quite average I neither like it or hate it. I find her tarty. Can't she wear a glamorous evening dress now and then?

After hearing "Bad Romance" for the first time on Radio One last month, it was obvious that "The Fame Monster" was going to be just that; a monster. Every track is something different and everything reeks of drama, fashion and genius which is not unusual for the biggest breakout of the year. "Teeth" has the eeriest sort of dirty sounding backing track along with the lyrics and is just a fantastic song that makes you strut down the street if you don't catch yourself out! "Telephone" I have to say is an obvious million levels above it's Beyonce counterpart "Videophone" and is a fantastic track. "Bad Romance" - the albums first release - is just breathtakingly incredible and "Speechless" has the grandiose effect and sound that nods towards GaGa's main influence, Queen. Overall, a fantastic album which shows the build up to what is sure to be an long and fantastic career for America's greatest export of 2009.

I love this album! When Gaga first came around i wasn't keen and disliked her, but when i heard a few from 'The Fame' i started to like her, but not alot. I then heard 'Bad Romance' and i loved it, i have reacently brought this album and its amazing, im even enjoying older songs from it!
James, Yorkshire on November 27th, 2009
you know what, she's great. this album is better than the first and those who say she's a man are obviously not comfortable with living in the 21st century. she's so obviously NOT a man and never has been for 23 years of her life. you go GaGa. go claim that pop crowd off britney. she no longer deserves it.

Downloaded it a few days ago, but only as I've already ordered the Collector's Edition Super Deluxe Artbook which isn't out until Decmeber 14th, and I couldn't wait. Absolutely loving it, though I do think Dancer In The Dark prevents it from getting an perfect rating (though I am giving it 5 out of 5). There's nothing wrong with the song per se, but it may as well have been called 'Generic Dance Song #314159'. It just didn't have that special Gaga-ocity, and basically anyone could have sung it. Otherwise, absolutely fantastic.
Alex, Blackpool on November 27th, 2009
Every single minute of this album is superb, one of the best of 2009 IMO; GaGa is a fantastic songwriter and deserves all the praise she gets and more. Plus, she's nice to her fans! Top quality album.

Only two words: AMAZING ALBUM!! :D Love Lady GaGa, she's amazing!!
Tom Almond, Liverpool on November 26th, 2009
This album beat my every expectation, everyone song has Hit potential and even though every song contrasts it still has a smooth flowing feeling throughout. Beyonce baught out a 2CD album, each disk exclaiming two different sides to beyonce. I love the album, but I think... Lady Gaga has created 8 Different sides to Gaga in one disk, in 8 different songs. This album is amazing, especially considering you get the Fame with it too. Lady Gaga, 5 STARS, thats money honey ;)(8)

I love this album! Especially 'Alejandro' and 'Teeth'. And Doug, the retarded youth comment was just plain foolish. As a 17 year old I'm pretty offended. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's wrong. For goodness' sake try not to be so self centered next time. And to the "Suck it", good one. Way to show how mature you are. I continue to love this woman's work. Good work.
Brad on November 26th, 2009
BAD ROMANCE + TELPHONE + TEETH ARE FRICKIN' AMAZING!!! the others are OK
Mark, Birmingham on November 26th, 2009
Completely agree. Great album. Each has a different sound, and the ballad is great. She can cover area of music and present it best.
Jim, Durham on November 25th, 2009
Oops, I meant "I'm a free b***h baby".
Jim, Durham on November 25th, 2009
Love it!, only down side is that it's censored, so instead of "I'm a freak b***h baby" on "Bad Romance" it's "I'm a freak bit baby", anyway it doesn't matter the album's great.
mezza on November 25th, 2009
Nah this is great, the best of the century <3
Iceman, Leeds on November 25th, 2009
Doug I whole heartedly agree! I guess we know who to blame for the next batch of pregnant teens living off benefits! I have to give plastic fantastic gargoyle's record label credit for one thing though and that is the album name. She is a fame monster, seeking publicity at every opportunity available CLASSY! We live in a day and age where people listen to music with their genitals! She'll sleep with a horse if it means more Fame! Jeez what a monster!
Larny, Somerset on November 24th, 2009
This woman is a musical genius, when the fame came out i loved it so much i couldn't wait for the next album but i never she'd top it, however the fame monster is amazing.
Doug - Scotland on November 24th, 2009
She is a he, has a cock and her music is sleazy/pretentious crap. People think N-Dubz are actually good.....kind of reflects how retarded the youth of today are becoming. Suck it.
Alex US on November 23rd, 2009
I was wondering about how Lady Gaga would surpass the Fame. But as usual, it's Lady Gaga. She defies expectations and stomps them into the ground. These 8 tracks alone are better than some other artists' whole careers.
Charlotte - Essex on November 23rd, 2009
I love this album so much. Every single track on The Fame as it is was worthy of a single release but The Fame Monster surpasses it. All 8 tracks are genius. She is one talented lady who will be around for a long time yet if this offering is anything to go by. Really it could have been a whole new album on its own. Its a shame that Second Time Around & No Way - both of which can be heard on the internet didn't make the final cut and boost it from 8 to 10 tracks but I guess we can't have it all. 10/10
James, Bisley on November 23rd, 2009
my copy came in the post this morning IT IS SOO GOOD OMG there is no doubt lady gaga is going to be around for a loong time :D

A really enjoyable (mini)album. An extension of the strengths of The Fame (which should have been more confident in sticking to its Poker Face 'electro' theme rather than slip into R'n'B), there isn't a weak track here. Catchy, quirky and funky, it's amazing to think she's been around - on these shores anyway - for less than a year. Beyond Bad Romance, Telephone, Alejandro (my fave) and Dance in the Dark are begging to be released as singles... the others aren't quite as immediate, but are better than at least half of The Fame. I love her continuous changes of image too - she looks different whenever you see her. Plus, she peforms (live) everywhere, from VMAs, to Glasto, to Royal Variety - that shows proper determination and a hard work ethic, made all the more impressive by the spectacular shows she puts on. That alone means she deserves to stick around!
Isabella, Bournemouth on November 23rd, 2009
I am so looking forward to her UK tour... :)
Mark, Yorks on November 23rd, 2009
All of these tracks are outstanding. Lady GaGa puts every other pop 'star' in the shade. La Roux, Little Boots et al take notice - THIS is how it's done.
Kylie's Sparkly Tiarra on November 23rd, 2009
This will fill the gap until Kylie's next musical opus due next year.
Kris, DSHQ on November 23rd, 2009
I was sceptical at first, wondering if she could top The Fame, but boy can this woman make music. Awesome album. If you enjoyed The Fame, you'll love her Monster.
Andre, London on November 23rd, 2009
I dislike the way she's copied Siobhan Fahey from the 'Hormonally Yours' era with the black teardrop photo. Gaga is a theif, she's stolen Roisin Muprhy's fashion, Madonna's attitude and a bit of Alison Goldfrapp for good measure. Meh she's so irritating and very overrated!
