Say hello to Austin Mahone; a 16-year-old singer who, like so many these days, was discovered by singing other people's songs on YouTube.
In fact, his rendition of Justin Bieber's festive hit 'Mistletoe' became more popular than the original, which eventually led to him signing a record deal with Universal.
With his latest single 'Say Something' out now and an EP following in December, Digital Spy phoned up the rising star to get ourselves better acquainted.
Your Twitter page this morning says that you're jet-lagged... are you feeling okay?
"Yeah, I'm very tired. I woke up at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep."
You also mentioned the food in your hotel was bad...
"Oh it was terrible! I think it was the bacon, American bacon is very different to London bacon."
Is this your first time in London?
"It is! I saw Buckingham Palace today, which was pretty big. I haven't seen much yet, but I like it so far. We're going on a little tour tomorrow."
You have a huge fanbase online, but is it nice to actually come over and see the UK fans you've already acquired?
"It's very exciting to leave the US for a bit. I love travelling, so it should be a lot of fun. The British fans are very intense, maybe even more so than fans in the US! They're great."

Where are you off to next?
"I'm off to Germany next. I've never been there - or even outside the US - so it's going to be weird dealing with the language barrier. I guess I'll just smile politely and see what happens."
You're still 16. What about school?
"I'm home-schooled now. Which is pretty easy. It's easier than public school so it's great. Although I was doing some algebra yesterday, which is my worst subject."
You've got a new single called 'Say Something' and you're releasing an EP soon. What do the other songs sound like?
"They're all in a similar vein - different but fit within a particular sound. Of the two songs I've put out so far, one is more urban and one is more pop. I'd say they're the extremes. It's out in December and then the album is going to come out in March or April next year."
How's the album coming along?
"It's going great, but we've still got quite a long way to go. We've got a new song coming out in a couple of weeks with a big feature, which I'm quite excited about. I'm actually really excited about it, I think it's going to be huge."
Can you tell us more about it?
"Sorry, I can't. You'll have to wait and see!"
Are you a fan of One Direction?
"I think they're cool. I haven't met them on the circuit, but I'm a fan. Their songs are great and energetic."
