The festival organiser said he will personally escort the hip-hip star around the fields to prove that "city kids" attend the event.
Eavis told The Guardian: "I had a word with his manager, and he said: 'You're country folk down there, we're city kids.'
"I said that a lot of people that come to Glastonbury are city kids too, and I would show him around to prove it."
However, Jay-Z won't visit the festival's famous stone circle because he does not enjoy "the hippy thing", according to his manager.
Jay-Z headlines Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage on Saturday, June 28.
