Courteeners suggest free Glasto cake

The Courteeners have suggested that offering free cake would help sell out tickets for Glastonbury.

Liam Fray's indie rockers also argued that there should be benches installed around the site to deal with the muddy terrain.

"They should put a few benches around because there’s nowhere to sit and rest your legs," Fray told the Daily Star. "You need a little sit-down and for someone to bring you cakes."

The Manchester group, who played The Late And Live tent at last year's bash, will perform on the John Peel Stage on Saturday.
