McFly give away new album with Sunday paper
Published Tuesday, Jun 24 2008, 20:56 BST | By Nick Levine

Copies of Radio:ACTIVE, the band's fourth studio album, will come free with the newspaper on July 20 - more than a month before its retail release.
Band member Tom Fletcher told the BBC: "We get to put [the album] into almost three million homes, which is an incredible opportunity for us. Hopefully the three million people will all enjoy the music and they'll decide to see us when we go on tour."
McFly are not the first act to distribute a new album with the Mail on Sunday. Last year Prince enraged music retailers by giving away copies of his Planet Earth album with the newspaper before it was available in the shops.
Radio:ACTIVE will not be available on the high street until September, when it will be released as a 'deluxe edition' featuring four new songs, a bonus DVD and a 32-page booklet.
