The indie group's frontman Tom Smith insisted on debuting an unheard track, forcing the band to "step outside of our comfort zone".
He told the Daily Star: "Playing on the Pyramid Stage is a big deal. I haven't let myself think about it as it's such a huge show.
"We've written a new song called 'No Sound But The Wind' and were 50/50 on whether we'd play it. But we decided we needed to step outside of our comfort zone."
Talking about the birth of his son Rudy, Smith described his first child as "the most amazing thing my eyes have ever seen. He's too young for Glastonbury, though".
