The Scottish singer has been determined to play every festival she can this summer, and even made sure that her planned wedding date would not clash with an opportunity to perform.
"You might have a bad day or be tired but gigs are very cathartic," Tunstall told the Daily Record. "So even if you have a bad day, a gig sorts you out. It's very rewarding."
KT recently celebrated her 33rd birthday by going horse-riding with her fiancé Luke Bullen.
"I ran through the Killarney hills on a horse then got practically beaten up in a Thai massage," she explained.
"Lucky Luke got me the most beautiful vintage record player for my birthday, along with the best first record collection ever. All the best blues, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Big Mama Thornton, and also some Kinks, Betty Davis, Eddie Cochran, an old Dance Hall record.
"I love it. I never want to listen to new-fangled pods and stereos ever again. I'll be rockin' the old Dansette stylus on our travels for sure."
