The band recorded the title track to 1985's A View To A Kill and hope Mark Ronson, who is performing with Duran Duran for a one-off show in Paris tonight, will work on the song with them.
Rhodes told The Mirror: "We'd love to collaborate with Mark on a single for the next Bond film... With him we may even surpass 'A View To A Kill'."
Shirley Bassey ('Goldfinger', 'Moonraker', 'Diamonds Are Forever') is the only musical act to have performed more than one 007 theme song.
