Ex-Darkness singer Justin Hawkins is planning a comeback with a band called Hot Leg.

The frontman is currently finishing an album in LA, which is scheduled for release in early 2009.

According to The Sun, the group is a "camp glam rock" outfit.

He will launch the band in the UK in August with intimate shows in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

Earlier this week, Hawkins performed a cover of Bon Jovi's 'You Give Love A Bad Name' in an LA club dressed in yellow leggings.
