Lily Allen has claimed that she may take up a career in A&R if her second album flops.

The popstar said she would be happy working as a scout for a record label if her music venture falters.

Speaking about her impending sophomore album, she told Rolling Stone: "I'm really scared about what people are going to say. Some people will like it and some won't.

"If people hate it, then I'll just try something else. I'd really like to do A&R at a record company. I love going to gigs."

Stuck On The Naughty Step, Allen's first LP since 2006's Alright, Still, is scheduled for release later this year.
