Mark Ronson has admitted that he did not think 'Rehab', his collaboration with Amy Winehouse, would become a hit single.

In an interview with The Times, the producer said: "Doing Back To Black with Amy, we felt no pressure at all to come up with hits.

"We were in our own bubble, just making music we liked. So while I knew it was good, I had no idea why her A&R guy saw dollar signs the very instant we first played him 'Rehab'."

Since his breakthrough with Winehouse, Ronson has gone on to collaborate with Lily Allen and the Kaiser Chiefs.

He is currently rumoured to be working on new material with Carl Barat of Dirty Pretty Things.
