Trevisan quit the group in April, claiming that she wanted to concentrate on her fashion career.
Adriano Cintra, who moved from drums to bass to replace her, told NME: "She wasn't interested in playing the bass.
"She was a terrible bass player and when we all went back to Brazil to start rehearsing the new songs to record... like Ana [Rezende, guitarist], she went to have piano lessons, but Ira, she went taking French lessons.
"I was like 'Oh my god, why are you learning French? And not having bass classes?' - especially when everyone else is trying to improve, and there's just somebody holding you back."
Cintra concluded: "So eventually she went 'Oh you know, I don't want to make no drama but I'm going to leave the band'."
