Geri Halliwell has revealed that she has no desire to return to her pop career.
The singer, who announced that she was quitting the music industry after the Spice Girls reunion tour, insisted that she is now happy as a children's author.
She said: "I've moved on from music and I really don't have a desire to do it anymore. I just love writing and I've always loved communicating with people."
Halliwell, who published first book Ugenia Lavender in May, is currently supporting Nick Jr's nationwide Once Upon A Bedtime campaign.
She is a member of the judging panel of the pre-school channel's bedtime story competition, the five winners of which will have their tales read out on TV in November.
Talking about the origin of her writing career, she added: "I actually had some down time a few years ago and I was looking for a way to be creative. I had always enjoyed writing so I just starting writing stories and it felt very natural.
"I thought 'oh my God! This could be a new medium for Girl Power by expressing it in a different way to reach a new generation!'"
