The 24-year-old pop singer, who hails from Santa Barbara, California, continues to fend off challenges from Rihanna, who remains at two with 'Take A Bow', and rapper Lil Wayne, who sticks at three with 'Lollipop'.
Another Lil Wayne single, 'A Milli', climbs from eleven to eight this week to become the only new track in the top ten.
Elsewhere, Estelle and Kanye West's 'American Boy', which topped the UK singles chart earlier this year, climbs to a new peak of 31.
