Primal Scream reveal album inspiration

Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie has claimed that the band's new album Beautiful Future was inspired by experiences dating back to 1996.
The singer revealed that he sees the new disc as the culmination of everything he has learned in the past 12 years.
"We've got methods and ways of writing songs. We've got a really good process," Gillespie told NME magazine. "Everything we've learned in the past 12 years has gone into Beautiful Future."
Bobby also admitted that the band make few plans for their albums before they enter the studio, as they prefer to improvise when they get together.
"Everything's very instant. In 1996, during Vanishing Point, we decided to have instant compositions. I'd say 99 per cent of the time, first thought is the best one," he explained.
"It's more a case of, right, if you were a movie director, you'd have to get the lighting right, the sets right, the acting right. You've got to capture the essence, the atmosphere. I love that process of being in the studio, making songs work."
