No other act will perform on the Main Stage on Friday night because it has been specially built for the rapper's 'Glow In The Dark' tour backdrop.
"A huge amount of planning has gone into Kanye's performance and fans won't be disappointed," a source told the Daily Star.
"To ensure the show goes to plan, no-one else will perform on the main stage on the Friday night. It is being built especially to his specifications.
"There will be 18 performers and £100,000 worth of lights put in place."
Festival bosses have also reportedly employed a "top-quality chef" to cook a three-course sit-down meal for the hip-hop star and his entourage.
Global Gathering takes place at Long Marston Airfield on July 25 and 26. Other acts playing include Moby, Mark Ronson, Robyn and Sam Sparro.
