The socialite, who released her debut solo album Paris in 2006, is working on tracks with the Good Charlotte star in a recording studio at her home.
"We've been working there every night," Hilton told People.
"He helps me because he's an incredible writer and we're on the same wavelength and so we're working well together as a team."
She added: "Benji will bring us beats and then we literally just sit there and write to the beats about what I want to talk about. The music is really fun. It's really just happy and fun dance music."
