Zutons: 'Winehouse doesn't talk to us'

The Zutons have said that Amy Winehouse is "stand-offish" with them whenever they meet.

Frontman Dave McCabe claimed the soul singer has not spoken to him properly since releasing her cover of their single 'Valerie'.

"I've met Amy since and she’s been a bit stand-offish," the Liverpudlian told the Daily Star.

"Amy just seems a bit shy whenever I see her these days. I've gone up to her and said: 'Nice one on the song, I like it'.

"But she seems to be in her own little world, like she just doesn't wanna talk."

McCabe suggested that Winehouse may have a problem with the band because of a conversation he had with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

"When I first met her husband I was a bit bad," continued McCabe. "I said: 'Mate, why don't you do something useful so you're not just known for being Amy Winehouse's boyfriend?"
