According to The Sun, the Manchester rockers' extensive jaunt is going to be announced in the next few weeks.
The concert at the Roundhouse will reportedly be filmed by the BBC. The tour will also allegedly feature dates at the City of Manchester stadium.
"The tour is bigger than anything the band have done before," said a source. "They will be on the road for more than a year - possibly pushing 18 months."
"The dates could easily run into three figures and will take them around the world."
The insider continued: "It is on the kind of scale you would expect from The Rolling Stones. The fellas who have hatched the plan are very proud and excited."
Oasis release their seventh studio album Dig Out Your Soul on October 6.
