Maroon 5 'don't want to be aging rockers'

The 29-year-old singer said being on the road is draining and he has no desire to follow a similar path to the Rolling Stones.
He is quoted as saying: "I've spent my 20s on tour and there's no consistency in my life, which can take its toll. Eventually I want to focus on being a completely different person because I don't want to be doing this into my 40s and 50s and beyond, like the Rolling Stones."
The comments echo sentiments from Levine's bandmate James Valentine, who told Digital Spy in a recent interview that he could not see Maroon 5 lasting as long as the rock veterans.
"I don't think this band will hold interest for long enough to allow us to do that," he said. "I can say that now and I'm sure those guys said the same thing at the time, but I just don't see it happening."
However, Levine was keen to stress that he is happy with the group's current touring commitments, saying: "I don't want to give it up just yet, though - I think we have a little more to say."
