Bryan Ferry given BMI Icon accolade

The gong, which celebrates artists who have had "a unique and indelible influence" on music, will be given at a London ceremony on October 7.
Past winners include singer-songwriter Stevie Winwood, The Bee Gees, James Brown, Isaac Hayes, Peter Gabriel, Van Morrison and ex-Kinks star Ray Davies.
Ferry, 62, released eight albums with Roxy Music between 1972 and 1982. He has also recorded 12 solo alums, including 2007's Dylanesque.
His hits include 'Let's Stick Together', 'Extended Play' and 'Slave To Love'.
