The Fratellis admit becoming complacent

The Glasgow band blamed exhaustion for the decision at the time, but frontman Jon has now confessed that they had stopped being grateful for their rock careers.
"We'd been touring for about a year and we must have been a bit tired. We weren't appreciating everything and how great it all was," Jon told the Daily Record. "You have to sort of give yourself a kick up the a**e now and again just to remind yourself that it's the greatest job that anybody ever gave you."
Jon added that he was surprised by the harsh reality of life on the road and started to miss his home comforts.
"I've been reading rock biographies my whole life but there is no way that anybody can prepare you for what it's like," he said. "It's a lot of work and a lot of travel."
The group release their new single 'Look Out Sunshine!' next week.
