Bloc Party to release album on Thursday

The indie rockers are the latest band to release an album at short notice, following a similar strategy to The Raconteurs' and Radiohead's recent LPs.
It is titled Intimacy and can be pre-ordered from the band's official site now. It will cost £5 for a mp3 bundle, while a CD copy is priced £8.
The record was produced by Paul Epworth and Jacknife Lee.
The group are expected to showcase tracks at this weekend's Reading and Leeds Festivals.
