The singer told the audience that he was "glad to be home" as he took centre stage at London's Earls Court last night.
Michael announced in June that he was planning to retire from touring after two final shows, dubbed The Final Two in reference to his 1986 gig The Final which ended Wham!
The concerts are the culmination of his two-year 25 Live Tour, which has played to more than 1.3 million fans.
After singing 'Fast Love', 'I'm Your Man' and 'Father Figure', the popstar told the crowd: "It's f***ing great to be home, I have to tell you."
Michael will play the second concert tonight, followed by a final gig in Copenhagen on Saturday.
