Blogger in court over Guns N' Roses leak

The songs, including the unheard 'Rhiad And The Bedouins', 'If The World' and '[Untitled]' from the band's Chinese Democracy LP, appeared on Kevin Cogill's website in June and were promptly removed for copyright infringement.
Cogill was arrested by the FBI on suspicion of violating copyright laws, with an affidavit revealing that he had confessed to leaking the songs online. He was released on $10,000 bail and will appear at an LA court for a preliminary hearing on September 17.
Band spokesman Larry Solters said: "Guns N' Roses representatives have been made aware of the arrests and are leaving the matter to the authorities."
Prosecutors have claimed that the early leak of tracks from the rock band's highly-anticipated new album could mean a "significant" financial loss for the group.
