Sparks: 'I'd love to work with Leona'

American Idol star Jordin Sparks has said she would love to collaborate with Leona Lewis.

The reality show winner claimed that she is a huge fan of Lewis, despite the fact the British singer kept her off the number one spot in America earlier this year.

"I met Leona right after she won X Factor," Sparks told the Daily Star. "We were recording in the same studio in the States and we got to hang out.

"It was cool because we both understood what the other one was going through and so shared a bond.

"I'm really proud and happy for her - even though 'Bleeding Love' kept 'No Air' off the number one spot back home."

She added: "I haven’t seen her for a couple of months but maybe we could do something together one day.

"There are a lot of people I'd love to work with and she'd be one."
