Let It Be Me will be the former Neighbours star's first LP in 15 years.
The record, which is inspired by music from the late 1950s and early 1960s, will hit shelves in November. It will include covers of songs including 'Blue Velvet' and 'Love Hurts', as well as a re-working of his number one hit 'Sealed With A Kiss'.
Donovan, who has two children with wife Angela Malloch, recently appeared in axed ITV soap Echo Beach.
