Verve comeback album debuts at No.1
Published Monday, Sep 1 2008, 08:26 BST | By Nick Levine

The reformed group's Forth LP matches the success of their last studio set, Urban Hymns, which topped the charts upon its 1997 release.
Heavy metal band Slipknot bow in second position with new album All Hope Is Gone, while Irish trio The Script fall to third with their self-titled debut.
Other new entries in the top ten come from late songbird Eva Cassidy, a Michael Jackson hits compilation, rapper The Game and folk-rock singer Teddy Thompson.
Meanwhile, the flurry of new entries pushes Duffy's Rockferry outside of the top four for the first since it entered the charts in March.
