The R&B star filed a lawsuit against tour promoters Rowe Entertainment Inc. when he was dropped after just two shows in 2007. He had claimed that the decision was made because he had been upstaging Kelly at the gigs.
Los Angeles Superior Court judge Malcolm Mackey ruled in Ne-Yo's favour after Rowe Entertainment did not officially respond to the lawsuit. Kelly himself was not involved in the case.
At the time the suit was filed, Rowe publicly blamed Ne-Yo and his team for the decision, claiming that they had not completed all of the relevant paperwork.
The star's new album Year Of The Gentleman is released later this month in the US and UK.
